jonazi forest tour
This 3-hour guided tour will take you through the Jozani Forest, the only natural forest on Zanzibar Island. Located in the central eastern part of the island, it is just a 20-minute drive from Stone Town. The forest lies between Chwaka Bay to the north and Uzi Bay to the south and spans approximately 2,512 hectares. Jozani Forest is home to about 100 tree species from 43 different families. The area encompasses a variety of ecosystems, including the groundwater forest, coral rag forest, and salt marshes.
