In the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Moshi and transport you to Marangu, nestled in the lush hills of Kilimanjaro. Here, a local guide will meet you and first take you to the Chagga Live Museum, where you'll gain a profound understanding of the traditional lifestyle of this agricultural community and their family heritage. Next, you'll be led through coffee and banana plantations to a stunning waterfall. Along the way, the guide will point out and discuss the local flora and fauna. At the waterfall, you can enjoy a picnic lunch and, if you wish, take a refreshing dip in the natural pool. In the afternoon, you'll travel to the village of Mamba, renowned for its caves that once sheltered women and children during the Chagga-Masai wars. In Mamba, you'll also visit a local blacksmith who continues to craft spearheads using traditional techniques. In the late afternoon, we will return you to your hotel.
